i was just talking too a friend, he lives in another state. he told me that the best buy by him put madden 09 up for sale. does anyone know about this? is it released at best buys in la?

i have bought madden the day before the release date at least once....i think it was 05 or 06.....the guy at eb games told me he wasn't supposed to but he did it anyway

That's odd, I played the demo and don't think it's exactly like 08.

I played it today at gamestop, it is very different in my opinion....I played two games one on xbox360, one on ps3. very little difference between the two systems. The best thing I liked was a very simple substitution feature, you press a button for subs, highlight the player to sub and select from anyone that fits those skills, you can sub reggie in as a receiver or put pierre in certain sets. The game actually has Adrian Arrington he's not very good but I was surprised to see him in the game and he even has his photo, all the rookies I skimmed through had photos. The running game seemed fluid, the passing game on All Pro was a bit too easy, but I think the new feature that adjust difficulty as you play will be great. A very interesting feature, that I won't probably use in franchise mode is rewind.... Ever had a pass that you just said, man I wish I had that play back, well this year you can, you set the number of rewinds you have in a game, but it helps you learn from your mistakes by getting a second chance at the same play. Very interesting. I was skeptical on the new Madden until I played it today, I really loved it.

he's wrong, i played it for two hours today and it blows the 08 version out of the water...

Just the 09 demo alone is better than the entire game from 08. This is the first true next generation Madden.

Agreed. I think I might even spend more time with Head Coach than Madden.
