Just picked one up. I don't know whether or not to drink it though.

Grocery by my house called Harvest Market. They have several cases at the moment. Pity they didn't license with the NFL and have some logos.

i'm pretty sure the answer to that is 'No.'

I think so too.

I've got a buddy who's wife worked the RNC and he has a couple bottles of the red, white & blue wax, but the label also says Republican National Convention and the year. I think he even got matching laser etched glasses. Funniest part is he's a democrat and has to lie to his wife.

I would drink it. I don't drink burboun much anymore, but I think a black and gold wax seal means its from God, and its not a question any more. Drink that whiskey and have a real come to Jesus moment, I forgot what I was getting at there.

I opened my bottle very carefully so when i close it you can't tell its been opened. When I'm done i will fill it with dye so that I can put it on the shelf.

You can drink it when we win our next Superbowl. That way it'll age an extra year. :9:

I'm not drinking mine. It's just maker's mark bourbon. There's oceans of the stuff if you want to drink it. But there are a limited number of black and gold wax bottles to defile.

Bourbon doesn't do any aging in glass except just get older.

I have a couple of bottles of the B&G Maker's. At least one will be opened, and at least one won't. I plan on giving a few as gifts.

Yeah, I'd drink it with all my fellow Who Dats.. then I'd fill it with something.. who knows.. change, mardi gras beads.. something, and then it would find a nice place on a shelf to remain.

Who Dat!?

Nectar of 'THE GODS'
Just don't defile it by using thinners!

I find Makers a bit harsh so I usually will open it with a small shot of water or single cube of ice. Of course, I know many that say you should hit any good bourbon with a shot of water to open it up.
