I had my doubts about Malcolm moving to FS, and I was somewhat worried when he would have to be heavily relied on. But like you said, he's getting better each and every week. He isn't late on his assignments like he was during preseason and a few early games, he's coming up in run support, he's getting his hands on the ball (hold onto it Malcolm!) and he has a fire that I love. I just do not see how you can put him on the bench for an extended period of time for Darren Sharper. I wouldn't be surprised if Malcolm is a future all pro at safety.

Maybe it is because he is also one of the best prepared FS' ?

Williams said outside of Vilma, Jenkins spends the most time watching film at the facility.

I remember when he was drafted and he more or less took all his exams early in just one week in order to join the team faster. There is no doubt that he is a hard worker and very intelligent. Both traits that is a signature of a future probowl FS. :9:

The more he plays, the better the chance those 5 passes defensed becomes 5 passes intercepted. Can't wait for that day to come!!!

Mj is playing well, but he should have one or two less deflections and one or two more INTs. :hihi:

Not really shocked by his performance, he has always played like this, I knew what he would bring coming out of Ohio State and he honestly always looked like he'd make a better FS than Corner at this level and I think with his cover skills it will eventually make him one of the best safeties in the league once he puts it all together.

Thing about mj is he is not a repeat offender like gw said. He gets better and better. If he could only hold on to the ball he would have about 4 int's right nag

I am very surprised as one of his strengths is supposed to be ball skills. I bet he gets a handful before the season is over.

I think he will end up with about 4 on the season. I think sharper will come in and infect them with that ball hawking virus because they are so competitive

At this point I'm happy with the defended passes. He is one step away from being a monster. As soon as he gets his confidence up to take the chances to catch he will be great.

MJ27 is ballin this year but next year he will be a pure stud at the safety position. Stop switching the guy and let him play Safety. He is learning from Sharp and he will do well there.

I hope they dont switch MJ27 to the CB position. Activate someone from the PS. Where is Reggie Jones. But anyway MJ27 is ballin and coming up making plays in the backfield.

If Sharper is back at FS and we're a few CB's down, I got no problems with Jenkins playing some CB. The idea is to get your best 11 guys on the field after all, and Jenkins is most defiantly one of the best 11 guys.
