How did Marshon play Saturday night vs. Detroit?

The Commanders forced 4 interceptions so I'm sure he contributed, but wondering if anyone noticed his direct impact. Seemed like Goff double-clutched quite a bit in the pocket.

His role didn't look special to the naked eye. But it narrowed down the field to his teammates which allowed better anticipation for his teammates to understand what was happening and make plays.

That's what a shut down CB does for ya in a passing league.

Just wait till next week. Putting him in solo coverage against the Eagles will allow the skins to alocate more players to stopping Barkley. In theory anyways.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if the skins put up a fairly good defense and beat the Eagles because of it and JD5 commanding the offense. We could be looking at a JD5 and Lattimore superbowl.
