I think he makes a lot of valid points.

I love listening to Lombardi’s podcast. He goes on some odd excursions every now and then with The Sopranos and the JFK assassination. But when it comes to the NFL he’s brutally honest. He absolutely goes OFF on people. He’s been hammering the Falcons all offseason. You guys would enjoy it.

This made me do some digging on the Falcons pre-Blank and during Blank's era. Found this article from January essentially calling out the writing on the wall that would turn into what we are seeing with the falcons right now.

It kinda skips over the Vick era as Blank bought the team in 2002, but essentially he has maintained the Falcon's sub .500 winning standard.

Lombardi sharply critiques a lot of people. Owners, GMs, coaches, players. Every single podcast. It’s actually kinda refreshing in an age when most commentators and talking heads are worried about upsetting people in the league.

He's one of my favorite listens. Found him via Bill Simmons. Always came across as entertainingly measured, honest, and fair with a side dish of incredulous sass.
