Love me some Mike Thomas!
This is a great article by John DeShazier about the player and teammate Mike is and his strong belief in the team.

"Sometimes I feel guys are scared to maybe give that tough love because they don't want to discourage or make someone feel uncomfortable. But once you realize that we're all in this together, we're all here to accomplish one thing, there's no ego, none of that. That's just my whole approach – just keeping it honest, staying in the moment, encouraging guys. It's pretty powerful how it works, I take a lot of pride in it but I don't want to overstep and do too much. I just want to do what's right for this team.

When you have opportunities to come out there and play with that group every Sunday, it's fun. So whatever it takes to be out there, I'm all in."

Watching the last locker room celebration, I took notice to CGM's face. He's a man of few words -- until he isn't -- so I tend to watch his body language. I hadn't put a term to what I think I'm seeing but "All in" fits -- on being a Saint and a teammate -- even through this team's ups and downs.

I’ve been saying that MT is still our #1, due to how dependable he is in THOSE moments. I definitely believe he wants to finish his career here. He gives off “Saint for Life” vibes. Obviously money is important, but I think MT is a player who thrives in environments that pour into him. No matter what we fans may think on the outside, the Saints’s organization seems to have remained a top level franchise. It typically treats players not just like humans, but like actual loved ones. That matters.

I could definitely see MT signing two year deals, a la Brees, so the cap remains flexible and he can still be a Saint. I also believe he has enjoyed mentoring far more than he ever would’ve thought before this season. MT seems to relish being the OG and helping bring Olave/Sheed under his wing.

I’ve always loved MT and never wanted to be rid of him despite some rough times. I’m glad He’s still one of us. I pray he’s able to help bring the franchise/city/fans another championship as a player. He truly embodies the spirit of the city: love, pride & resilience.

MT and Kamara stepping up is so needed. When Drew was here, you kinda forgot that these guys were waiting on their turn. Cam, DD, Ram, Latt, and Hill, are also those guys we need to keep this ship afloat

Amen brother
