Mikee-GA's Week 9 Power Rankings
I'm so glad the Falcons have such boneheaded coaching. The only problem is that it doesn't prepare us for McCarthy, Coughlin, Harbaugh, Schwartz, you know, good coaches.

Criteria: Wins, Dominance, Opponent's strength. I expect many red-thumbs/*

Rank Team Last Record Notes

Packers ----- (1) --- 9-0 I quit watching at 24-0. The rest was more of the same. Poor Vikings. :)
49ers -------- (2) --- 8-1 Scary when they can play their game without Frank Gore. G-men go down. I'm starting to believe in these guys/
Saints ------ (7) --- 7-3 Beautiful win that showcased the fear that Payton & Brees instill in the hearts of really stupid coaches.
Texans ----- (8) --- 7-3 Did us a favor and perhaps became the team to beat in the AFC. They're awesome on O and D. Now let's see what Leinart can do.
Steelers --- (9) --- 7-3 Steelers take control of the North abusing the rookie Dalton and containing the Bengal run game.
Bears ------- (13) --- 6-3 Huge game from Hester and the D as da Bears get three returns for TDs at Stafford's expense.
Patriots ------ (12) --- 6-3 Ninkovich dominates Sanchez and the Jets O, and there's also that Brady guy.
Lions ------- (4) --- 6-3 Stafford four picks, 2 for TDs as the Lions turn it over 6 times against Chicago.
Giants ------ (5) --- 6-3 This game consisted of 6 FGs for 42 1/2 minutes until both teams exploded for 4 TDs. Unfortunately the 9ers got 3 of them.
Ravens ----- (3) --- 6-3 Another weird road loss to a mediocre team as the Ravens allow Lynch and the Hawks to upstage Ray Rice in the run game.
Bengals ---- (6) --- 6-3 Too many mistakes by Dalton and not enough from Green and Benson.
Jets --------- (10) --- 5-4 In a big hole now getting swept by the Patriots. The worst part may have been how bad the D looked on national television
Cowboys ---- (18) --- 5-4 Cowboys have discovered a run game and are capable of dominating when they put it all together. Ask Buffalo.
Bills ---------- (11) --- 5-4 The league has too much film on these guys. The wins were an eternity ago. Cowboys rule.
Raiders ----- (15) --- 5-4 No McFadden? No problem. Michael Bush dominates and Palmer starting to get it together.
Falcons ----- (14) --- 5-4 A very stupid gamble negates a nice 10 point 4th quarter comeback to force overtime. Always enjoy seeing Roddy White stink.
Titans -------- (19) --- 5-4 It's strange but these guys are only one game back in the loss column with CJ2K figuring it out and Carolina providing zero resistance.
Buccaneers - (16) --- 4-5 When they go down, it is spectacular. Very vulnerable to good defensive teams like the 9ers and this weeks disaster, Houston.
Chargers -- (17) --- 4-5 No run game and no defense. Equally pathetic against the run, against the backup tailback, and the pass, against Oakland's receiving corps. They're in trouble.
Broncos ----- (22) --- 4-5 Tebow wins going 2-8 and losing 2 tailbacks. How can that be? Ask the Chiefs. You know they are 1 game out of first.
Chiefs ------- (20) --- 4-5 Their little win streak is ancient history. Sinking back to the basement where they started the year at the hands of Denver's juggernaut.
Eagles ------- (21) --- 3-6 Now it's just getting ridiculous. When that secondary gets beat by a guy named Skelton you know it's over. Vick plays with broken ribs.
Seahawks --- (25) --- 3-6 Nice job taking out Baltimore with a strong running game and lots and lots of field goals.
Redskins ---- (23) --- 3-6 Grossman gets the nod today over Beck. What's the difference?
Cardinals ---- (27) --- 3-6 Fitz explodes and the D gets Vick for two picks. Skelton leads a great gamewinning drive in the 4th.
Browns ----- (24) --- 3-6 McCoy wasn't bad and neither is the D but they just have no weapons.
Vikings ------- (26) --- 2-7 At no point in this game were the Vikings in it. Pack scored before Rodgers even touched the ball.
Jaguars ------ (29) --- 3-6 One of Indy's few winnable games? MJD thinks different. Jags D too much for the miserable Colts.
Panthers ---- (28) --- 2-7 I guess Cam and the Putty Tats wanted an extra bye week, whether they were scheduled to go to Nashville or not.
Rams ---------- (30) --- 2-7 They can win if Bradford has some help. S-Jax, Lloyd, and the D dominate Cleveland's inept offense.
Dolphins ------ (31) --- 2-7 Reggie Bush 2 TDs and Brandon Marshall shows up to lead the Phins over the quarterback-less Redskins.
Colts ---------- (32) --- 0-10 If they can't beat Jax at home then it's hard to foresee any wins at all.
