It's being reported that Randy Gregory, Eric Kendricks, and Marcus Peters are scheduled to visit the Saints to have meetings. I know it has been reported on different threads already, but this one's a little different. You see, these are the three players that I feel would benefit the Saints the most at 13, 31, and 44. In these 3 players you have probably the best players at their positions which are also coincidencetly the three areas the Saints really need help at. In my opinion, if we get Gregory @ 13, Kendricks @ 31, and Peters @ 44 this would be the greatest draft for us in memory. Two of the best players at their respective positions falling due to incidents allowing us to grab them and shore up the defensive side of the ball for years to come. I would be more than thrilled if the first 3 picks fell this way. What say you Who Dats? Positive or negative, I would love to hear y'all thoughts. This should be interesting.....

If any of those guys are at those respective picks, you have to take them. No way peters falls out of the first though. But Gregory/Kendricks is probably the most ideal situation we can have in the first. I would go ape **** for it.

The draft can unfold many different ways, it's so organic. For all that is Saintly I hope we go with Gregory and Kendricks of they're there when we pick at 13 and 31. Peters if there @ 44 (I agree, Big if) would free us up to grab OL in the 3rd(where I feel there are many players than can play guard very well) and WR with our other 3rd.
I wouldn't be upset if we pick wr at 44 though is Strong is there.
Needless to say it should be a very interesting draft this year. Key players of our needs slipping due to personal reasons should give us a chance to grab very good players regardless of position.....

I'm just glad the team is doing their due diligence in making sure they know all they can about players that may be available when we pick this year

especially now that the Saints own the 31st pick... :hihi:
Yes. If Kendricks is not there and Peters is, I hope we grab Peters at 31. There's always the chance that the team trades up from 31 to the mid 20's to grab Kendricks ahead of the Packers though. And also, it's starting to look like the Chiefs may be in play for Kendricks also. Of course this is all speculation though. I just personally hope we are able to come out of the 1st with Gregory and Kendricks.....

I've been seeing that as well. But since GB lost Tramon Williams there's a possibility they select a CB if one falls to them.

I believe so as well. Green Bay has always been pretty adamant about having two quality starting CBs.

As of now, they're down to just Shields, unless they have someone who has been hiding down the depth chart for some time.

I can definitely see us pairing the 31st with one of our 3rd to move and select someone on our radar.

And they lost Davon House to Jacksonville as well.
