Bash it if you want

1. Miami--Vernon Gholston---a perfect 3-4 backer
2. Rams--Chris Long
3. Atlanta--Jake Long
4. Raiders---Ellis--Lane Kiffin knows him from his days at USC
5. Chiefs--Glenn Dorsey
6. Jets--McFadden
7. NE--Keith Rivers or trade down--
8. Ravens--Clady---Ogden is gone
9. Bengals--Mendenhall--Rudi is on the downward spiral
10. Saints trade to 17--according to the draft trade chart, they can move down to 17 and give up a late round pick--they get the 17th and 47th overall from the Vikings.

Don't get me wrong I would love for the saints to trade down if both DT are gone....... but is Sweed even considered a first round talent let alone top 10?

I think he is definite first round. I believe Sweed and kelly are fighting for the number one spot in this weak, very weak wide receiver class.

I am not sure if they are a top ten pick. Actually this class has a drop in talent after the first 8 or 9 players. Then a group of players that are comparable to each other that are clumped around picks 10 through 20.

Why do 75% of the mocks on this board have us and only us trading down? Is nobody else in the top 10 in the trading biz? Where's the assumption that we'll a) be interested in trading and b) find a trading partner? Who's going to trade into the top 10 to draft Limas Sweed?

No way the Vikings trade up for Sweed. He is a late 1st pick at best.

nice mock, but i personally don't think we can trade down with anyone who wants a receiver... i'd love to package #10 to philly for sheppard and a pick, but they're almost certainly in a better spot to get a receiver @ 19 than they would be at 10... i like your first 2 picks, that makes sense to me, but i have a hard time seeing atlanta passing up dorsey (although they might for ryan or dmac)

The Vikings probally don't even want a WR in the first, We wouldn't take Jenkins at 17 if DRC and McKelvin are both there. There's a ton of first round players that aren't in your first round. Connor at 11? This would have been a good mock a few months ago but a lot has changed.

The same thing occurred to me.

I can even see Miami trading down 3-4 spots, and still getting Ellis, Dorsey, Ryan, etc. But they would be smart to stay where they are and take Gholston.

I don't like Jenkins. I rather have DRC or Rivers if Ellis or Dorsey are gone.
