Wrong. The situation in DC was very much a lack of maturity and ability on his part. He would point fingers at other players for poor team performance. He could not go through progressions which led to him holding on to the ball for entirely too long. This led to him taking hits, getting injured, and taking sacks. It was pretty clear in 2014 Cousins was the best QB on the roster during the Griffin, McCoy, Cousins merry-go-round season. Cousins 204 attempts - 8 sacks. RG3 214 attempts - 33 sacks. This was during the peak of Pierre Garcon and DeSean Jackson's careers. RG3 was throwing for 163y/g and running for 19.6y/g while Cousins was throwing for 273y/g.

Look at his personal life. Look at the tweets during his time in Cleveland. He hasn't grown as a player from his days in DC. He has regressed.
