Need help with Kodi builds (1 Viewer)

I am trying to clean up my Kodi. i want to get rid of addons that don't work anymore and add new ones. I have pulse build and ares wizard, but i keep getting an error message. Should I just uninstall everything and start over? I have the newest version of Kodi and I'm using Amazon Fire TV. Any experts out there?

2) Reinstall.

I have an Amazon Fire TV with Krypton 17.3 and the build I use is Schism. I moved away from Beast because of how often I had to update the build. It felt like I was rebuilding it every few weeks.
