New Orleans Saints Owner and Executive Vice President, Rita Benson LeBlanc challenges all Saints fans to take this “once in a lifetime opportunity” to go Over the Edge of Benson Tower and become a S.W.A.T. Team member for a day this August! On Thursday, August 26th at 8:00am each thrill seekers experience will start with rappelling down the 26 story, “NEW” Benson Tower. Next, you will be transported by helicopter to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office to take part in Special Weapons and Tactics (S.W.A.T.) training. Once all training has been complete you will receive a replica of the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office S.W.A.T. team jacket, and then flown by helicopter back to Benson Tower. The fee for this unique opportunity is $1,000.00 and all proceeds benefit Special Olympics Louisiana.
