New Orleans Saints finally get their power running back, Western Illinois' Herb Donaldson (1 Viewer)

The Saints have agreed to sign undrafted free agent tailback Herb Donaldson from Western Illinois, according to the school's website.

Donaldson (5-10, 222 pounds) led the entire nation in rushing and scoring at 162.2 yards per game and 12,0 points per game last year.

Described as a "bowling ball" of a running back, according to NFLdraftscout.com, Donaldson ran for more than 1,400 yards in three consecutive years and put himself on the map with a 157-yard, two-touchdown performance against Arkansas last year. The knocks on him are speed and versatility.
