Jeremy Parnell is an offensive lineman in his second year with the Saints. Parnell, a practice squad member, signed with the Saints in 2009 as an undrafted free agent after playing only one year of college football at Ole Miss. In that one season, he played in five games and had one tackle for loss as a defensive lineman. Before that, he played four years of basketball for the Rebels, and as a senior he averaged 3.7 points and 3.3 rebounds per game and had 22 blocked shots. He initially signed with the Saints on May 4, 2009, and was waived and re-signed to the practice squad four months later. He recently spoke with staff writer Robert Stewart.
