This isn't necessarily Saints or even Football related news As of Today, and the MODS can move it if they want, but after further thought on the subject matter please don't. We don't often get news that could revitalize one of our cities in dire need of it in Louisiana and this appears to be something that could do just that. It would be smart of the Saints to hold a few practices/scrimmages around their market area each year similar to what they have done in the past in other areas of their fan base. A boon to the economy in the Shreveport area could lead to people in that region having a few extra bucks that would allow them to come down and make some Saints home games in person who otherwise couldn't in today's economy. They certainly would have a higher interest if the Saints were to hold a practice up there. Marketing shares in Shreveport that supports the Saints instead of the Cowboys would be a coup and would help regain and retain the fan base statewide. I thought this is worth a share. Some of the renderings in the story look awesome. Watch the video in the attachment. Enjoy.

Media mogul and award-winning artist Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is preparing to transform the former Millennium Studios in downtown Shreveport into his G-Unit Studios.

“What this means is Shreveport could be on the trajectory to be one of the fastest-growing cities, not only with population but with economic development,” Councilman Alan Jackson said.

Shreveport’s film industry is about to transform with this new expansion. And, according to city leaders, 50 Cent is interested in purchasing other properties throughout Shreveport, including Stageworks.

“He is actually looking to exercise and utilize local talent that is here,” Taylor said.” And that local talent can range from business owners to actors or whatever it is that your skillset is.”

50 Cent’s G-Unit Studios is expected to bring jobs, boost tourism and grow the area’s real estate market.

I'm gonna stop ya there.
If you watch the video the first person interviewed is standing on the football field of Independence Stadium, home of the "The Independence Bowl" in Shreveport. With that said I retract that portion of my OP. This could have a huge impact for the draw of "The Independence Bowl", therefore, this is relevant to football in the State of Louisiana. And I also described ways it could affect the Saints and NOLA which makes it relevant to the SSF.

Since when did Shreveport secede from Texas and join Louisiana?

Good to see some positive stories about Shreveport, all I ever read about is their skyrocketing crime.
