Fairly sure the scenario you mention would put the Bucs in. So, if we lose to LA and the Bucs beat Jacksonville that’ll pretty much be our season over (Bucs aren’t losing to Carolina last game).

Most likely scenario feels like both us and Tampa lose next week, then we would need to beat them and Atlanta. I’m not convinced we go to Tampa and beat a team that blew us out at home.

I think we'll look a lot different against Tampa this time

Agreed. If we lose vs the Rams, the Bucs game against the Panthers is massive.
 
I’d have to check but I believe the Bucs have a better NFC record so we have to finish with a better record.
They have a better NFC record, a better division record, and a better common opponents record. That’s why we must avoid a tie with them. We need to have a better Win/Loss record to take the division. Our odds are somewhat slimmer to get in on a wildcard berth.
