NFL.com ranks us as #1 team after draft (1 Viewer)

Hate to be a Debbie Downer, but it means nothing to me. We were the best team in the league for the last 2 years and yet it mattered not.

Somehow, some way, the most extraordinary, inexplicable, ridiculous once-in-a-lifetime play happened in consecutive years to send us home.

I won’t feel happy until they paint our team name in the end zone of Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

This does not surprise me one bit, we are actually probably a better team now than we were at the end of last season.

Agreed.

Adding Cook at TE > Whatever abomination that was at TE last year

Sherels > Tommy Lee's complete lack of ball security/awareness/playmaking ability.

We get Patrick Robinson back in the slot, and PJ has more experience when he comes back from suspension.

Also our 1st year and 2nd year young players have another year of experience under their belt.

I'm starting to get excited about football again!

Imma be excited when Saints crush the Rams, Cowgirls, and Falcons. Then i will watch the Superbowl that if Refs and Goodell allow that black n gold team to play in MI YA YO!!

It's a good squad, hands down.

Just looking at all the teams objectively as possible I can't do anything but agree with their assessment. Headed into the draft we really only had a few dicey spots. Center, Safety depth, DE depth. Well we drafted a Center who will probably start from day 1 and a couple of Safeties who can do a lot of different things. This roster doesn't have a position you can point to and say that it's a glaring weakness. Few teams can say the same.

There's just something about the fact that the Super Bowl is in Miami again. :)
