NFL officially moves Vikings @ Rams Monday night wild card game to Arizona due to wildfires (merged) (1 Viewer)

I would move it too for safety and the lack of man power right now (police, ambulance, fire fighters). It’s kind of crazy to think that they might try to have this game with just so much recent devastation around that area.

Exactly. They shouldn't even consider trying to have it there. Just go ahead and move it out of an abundance of caution. Seriously, I wouldn't want to go there with everything else going on.

they should do it in san jose at the 49ers stadium.

Why? It's a pain in the rear to get to that stadium since it's located off of one of the busiest stretches of freeway in the area. Not to mention it's open air and the Arizona stadium has a retractable roof.

I was thinking this about Arizona's stadiums just yesterday. Air quality looks fairly dangerous in L.A. right now....

Agreed, the air quality is awful. The NFL should go ahead and move it out of So Cal.
Another reason they should move the game. If they make the decision quickly it's better for everyone concerned for planning purposes. If they drag their feet it just makes it harder for everyone to make the necessary adjustments.
A really good point…the sooner the better for everyone involved.

A shot of the Chargers out practicing in this really bad air. You’d think the Chargers powers that be would have flown the team to Houston early or canceled outdoors activities so they could clear the area and practice in something healthier for their players and employees.

That's just nuts. Cray cray.
