Rule 28 Section 3:

No NFL team in or around the city of New Orleans (on in the state of Louisiana) will get any help to make the playoffs by other NFL teams winning or losing in the final week. In addition,
if a team in the city of New Orleans (or the State of Louisiana) should earn a conference title then a rule change will be adopted the following year that would have prevented the title.

What really infuriates me is that the team in the AFC that magically got the help was...the Steelers.

Can't think of a team and fan base less deserving of a million lucky breaks than that one.
