Not totally against the new kickoff, or at least the direction they’re trying to go, but i think it needs some tweaking. Hope they address it.

Go back to the old style, it’s too weird that college and pros differ

I fondly remember a game against the Texans where Brees scrambled and slid late and a Texans’ safety dove into him and speared Brees helmet first. There was no flag because of the late slide (which was legit, IMO), but the spearing was blatant and a personal foul should have been called.

Brees gave the ref a brief WTH look, then turned and returned to the huddle. For the rest of the game Brees threw at that safety for the Texans and abused the he’ll out of him. It was a thing of beauty. I always wondered if it was just Brees doing the attack or if Payton assisted the bludgeoning with the play calls.
