Siemian in one start looked better than Winston. He went through his progressions better and spread the ball around, he had the most passing yards and attempts in one game all season.

Winston has the college accolades and high draft status but Siemian fits the offense better and already looks to be a better transitional option and will have the rest of the season to prove it.

Prove it? Prove what? The guy went 4-2 with 14-3 TDs/INTs in the face of significant adversity. I understand if you are saying prove you deserve real money but he's already proven he can run the system and follow Sean's lead. A 2-3 year team-friendly deal (assuming everything checks out medically in the spring) is something that works for both sides.
