Nominate 3 and give reasons why. Don't nominate yourself (I'm talking to you Antipop). Poll will come in a few weeks.

HennessyRob (for informative posts)
Antipop (for the WDQ pic)
The Mongoose (for good taste in games)

This list is not a reflection of whom my favorite posters are (obviously, cuz Antipop is up there). kcirdor is the winner of my favorite poster in a landslide victory.

Only 3?

I've lurked for a long time, but only because I haven't anything better to say than what many folks here already posted.

The more I can get involved with gaming again (my 5yr old boy has literally taken over my 360), the more I'll be able to post.

Most folks here are helpful, and knowledgeable, so it'll be hard to choose 3. I'll vote later, but in the meantime...

(and this next part probably belongs on the Trials HD thread, but is a testament to the information you can get from folks here...) I may have to take away points for nominations, and then give them back to The Mongoose and antipop for their participation in the Trials HD thread... hear me out...

I read the Trials HD thread back when it was fresh, but never got a chance to steal the controller from my boy long enough (he was entrenched in Marvel Ultimate Alliance) to DL the demo.

I finally got it on my hard drive this past week and I hate and love the game. It is addicting to say the least, but also miserably frustrating. The demo pulls you in, and lets you have some fun. The full version must be just as fun, right?!? NO! and Yes at the same time.
Good lord... I now know what you all mean about just putting in a few minutes and then realizing hours have passed.

The Mongoose - you should've never brought this game to our attention, but then I'm glad you did. Very mixed emotions on this one.

antipop - what can I say. You discounted the game, said it was a clone of a free flash game, and then later you were checking out the demo with a friend. Thats how it starts I hear. First you're just experimenting, and you can quit whenever you want, but then the game has you in it's grip, and you're done.

I knew better, I did... But I didn't listen. I'm *MUCH* too easily swayed by the suggestions of you fellow gamers and while I appreciate learning about the new avenues in which I can burn away time, my wife would like it very much if you'd stop.

My boy (did I mention he's 5?), actually got a better score than me on 'Down the Stairs', laughing the whole time... I had 79 points, he got it up to 88 and I'm still not sure how he did it.

Sorry for the rant, but I needed to get that out...

Like I said... VGB poster of the year will have to wait. I have to figure out if I really appreciate you all, or despise you for bringing me back into games that make me crazy, yet can't get enough of...

Ahhhh Trials.....what memories we have.

I nominate RRoD,

seems like all other posters are always talking about him

Without being to mushy or touchy feely, I nominate all of us. Think Gary Oldman in The Professional: "Everyone!!!"

One thing that mongooses know is ecosystems. We have a delicate balance that nourishes us all. You take away one piece of the fragile system and it could collapse. The VG board needs our stout oaks and our smelly fungus that grows under rocks. Else, we wouldn't be what we are.

I nominate everyone. E-very-ONE!!!
