Currently, I feel pretty angsty about the way the season went. I am not expecting more than 5 wins next season. I can't see any way they will improve next year with so many vets aging or unproductive and terrible draft classes from 2018 to present.

So I guess the question is: Beyond firing DA, which they refuse to do, what could the Saints do to make fans feel hopeful about next season?

Free beer?

Maybe ticket prices will come back down to earth? 🙏

I wonder if Vegas has an early w/l for next season. I bet it would be 6 wins. Lol

If the Saints only have 5/6 wins I don't expect DA to make it the the whole year! Everyone needs to go ASAP!

Nothing will get better (it will actually get worse) as long as Dennis Allen is the Head Coach.

He’s a horrendous leader.. he isn’t respected by his players (clearly).. and apparently he’s on the verge of shipping out some of the best players on the team (like Latt).

Hope for this team is nonexistent for me at this point. It will return when (and only when) Dennis Allen is dumped

Just keep doing what you're doing, putting out a mediocre product. Then blame the fans for not supporting it.

Next year they'll miss the playoffs again but claim to be making progress.

Give out free booze, foods and ludes at the games? I really have no idea how you can generate hope in a fan base for a team that's led by a wimpy loser. Maybe they will improve the amenities in the stadium more?

To be fair, I felt pretty the same at the end of last year (bad), and throughout the course of the last off-season they strung together enough moves that I could connect potential dots and muster optimism without entirely excluding logic. Obvs that didn't work out, but it could happen again. It's happened before...

I don't need a specific thing to be hopeful. I just want them to not only make decisions that leave me scratching my head. Nobody thinks this team is in a championship window. Why do they manage the cap, roster, draft, and even the way they talk about the team like they are just a player away? Nobody, from fans to professional analysts believes that and it makes me not trust them.

Just start rebuilding. You don't have to call it that, but we'd be able to see it. Get younger, trade back to acquire more 2nd-3rd round picks and fix the coaching problem.
