On November 8th, 1970 (53 Years Agp Today) Tom Dempsey of the New Orleans Saints kicked a 63 Yard Field Goal, game winning kick with time expiring against the Detroit Lions in Tulane Stadium. The kick set a new FG NFL Record For distance.
