Maybe I’ve missed a few but it looks like our D-line always rushes straight ahead. I can’t remember the last time I saw our D-line run a stunt.

With the lack of pressure we’ve been producing, there needs to be some wrinkles to confuse the O-line. Bringing Taylor off the edge was working very well. I know we brought Amadi once this game but we need to step up the pressure on opposing QB’s.

Really our guys are not winning one on one battles. I will give them credit for stepping up toward the end but for most of the game there were little to no pressures. Credit to Cam today. Thought this was his best game of the year.

I was a little concerned when their LT got injured and we still could not get any pressure. After the Browns touchdown drive in the 3rd quarter, I think Cam and Granderson started to step up. I noticed a few times we isolated our DE on the RT. We were able to get a few pressures. I am still concerned but I am happy with the win.

6 sacks in the last 2 weeks. Whatever they're doing, they need to keep doing it.
The inside D-Line is looking better since Bryan Young took over as D-Line coach. But it still remains an area of weakness. The Saints still need to shore up this area in FA and the draft in the offseason. Hopefully Young can keep showing progress each week.
Yep! And give props to new DC Joe Woods for how he’s changed up n his playcalling compared to DA as well:

Less stunts, less blitzing, n playing more ZONE in da backend, esp on obvious passing situations!

Watch the takeaways go up, esp once DD gets his new pair of hands from Amazon!

😂🤣😂🤣😂

We stunted non stop before allen got fired. Where you been? Last week we culled the stunt a bit and got pressure.

As for zone, poster above, we ran tons of zone with Allen after Keystone Copping the Eagles, and it failed.

They ran stunts all the time when DA was running the defense. In fact it was one of the things the DL talked about when he left. Cam in particular said they ran too many stunts and the rotation was bad. He said that the DL could not get into a pass rush rhythm or set guys up for counter moves because they weren't running enough normal snaps to have the stunt be a surprise and they weren't getting enough regular snaps to set guys up for a counter move.

Best stunt was when Chase Young forgot he was supposed to be in, ran on late and the play ran right into him TFL----lets try that again!

Early in the game Cleveland's LT went down and in came the 3rd string LT--Young was insignificant as usual VS 3rd stringer. Looked half speed most of the game. Cut bait end of the season.
