Since 3-2 start Panthers have been downright terrible. They have only scored 30 points once since that start. Which ironically was against KansasCity (Which tells you how terrible thier D is) Detroit has been the lone branch on a tree that has broke Carolinas free fall from the cliff. Each week that goes by it looks evident that Bridgewater is painfully limited and is not a long term solution at QB.

There was “no way” a floundering Eagles team with their 12th OL combination, a weak WR corps, a struggling running game, and throwing a rookie QB (making his first start) vs the NFL’s top defense had a chance either. Just sayin’

accurate and I agree...although my Saints fan gut was telling me the whole week preceding the game, that it would be a loss. I’ve come to trust my Saints fan gut over the years.

Why though? ...a Panthers W is a win for the Saints and technically also “hurts” the Panthers in that it at least pushes them a little further down in the draft order.

True. But the Packers typically don’t “lay down” one random game a year like we do. Which is the reason why they got a bye last year and we didn’t and why currently they are the 1 seed and we need them to drop one and us win out.

I understand what you mean, but I still think there is a chance. Who knows, maybe Rodgers will throw a pick 6 or fumble or maybe their kicker will have bad luck. Anything can happen. Kickers on several teams have been missing a lot lately for some reason.

Of course they do, but then the refs step in and spot them 17 points.

That’s true. I say some of that other stuff “tongue in cheek” because I’m bitter about last week

I also think that though we are more talented than the Packers, they seem to seldom have the mental lapses against inferior teams that randomly plague us each season. So it’s frustrating to watch them humming on all cylinders when we need them to lose to an inferior team.
