And here is where the negative of having tons of cap space kicks in. I mentioned it earlier in the off-season. You start having to give out crazy money to meet minimum spend thresholds after most of the good vets turn you down because they don’t want to play for your bad team.

There is such thing as having TOO much cap space; it’s like a gift and a curse.

Fair, I was thinking along the lines that the Patriots had basically 0 weapons and now that gives them one but yeah, could backfire if he starts whining about targets
