If we finish 12-4 after staring 0-2 he should be the front runner.

Sean Payton has a talented team. That makes his job easier. Shouldn't the coaches who are doing as much with less talent get greater consideration?

Barring a serious crash, he'll probably get it. Going from 4-12 to ~12-4 is a great accomplishment.

Could come down to Saints vs Rams on Nov 26. If we beat them... Payton may be in.

On the other hand... Bountygate memories may still trip him up... even if the Saints secure the #1 seed.

im gonna say one of the next 3, just because we're due for a slip up... but i cant just pick another. i mean division games are always tough. and we have 4 left. could drop one of those.

I'd love to see us finish 14-2 but we have a tough stretch with the Bills, Rams, skins and 4 division games left. I believe we will stumble to the Rams. Also I hate to say it but I think we split with the Failclowns. Division matcups are always tough.

I have this feeling too, especially since one of the ATL games is after only 4 days and on a Thursday

I would be more concerned with Drew getting the MVP which he has deserved for so long. He has been much more consistent than SP.

I think a dark horse has to be the Jets coach. I know they aren't lighting the world on fire, but preseason everyone had them as a pretty good chance to go winless.

With that said, the Rams coach will probably still win.

A lot more than just the big turnaround will nail the COTY honors for McVay.

He's now coaching a big market team that the league has been promoting relentlessly.
Nothing would help their cause more than to add a few extra accolades to the Rams franchise to go along with the improvement in their Win/Loss record.

The trophy is as good as his now.
