Awesome setup. Now all you need is a Simpson racing belt. :hihi:

haha seriously, im getting an actual bride racing seat to go in it soon.

Very cool!

Just about the only thing I play are racing sims. I've wanted to get a racing seat for awhile, so maybe I ought to follow your lead and make one myself. I'm inspired! :hihi:

its really satisfying to be able to dominate the game in a way that was near impossible with a standard controller. plus the immersion is that much better being in a seat, with the force feedback of the wheel pushing and pulling at every turn.

I've got the force feedback wheel and pedals (Logitech Momo), just not the seat. The difference in using a wheel vs a controller is huge. The comfort and stability of a seat would have to make it just that much better...

it really does, its near impossible to play with it on your lap, id rather use a regular controller lol.

hey thanks! ive been getting tons of use out of it. especially when i snapped my rock band pedal in half :(

Definitely - and you need the pedals to be mounted so they don't push away from you. Looks like a pretty sweet setup!

Naw. My pedals have a bottom designed to grip the carpet and my wheel grips my computer desk. Not nearly as cool as your setup, not by miles, but still significantly better than a controller. ;)

this one does too, but it slides across the hardwood like you wouldnt believe. and the wheel is force feedback, so when you put it on your lap and try to take a corner it lifts itself off your lap due to the force. not so much fun that way lol
