So I saw the hilarious Mountain Dew meets Abraham Lincoln commercial and it started me thinking: based on personality traits and physical ability, how would our presidents have lined up? Here's what I came up with:
<style type="text/css"> <!-- @page { size: 8.5in 11in; margin: 0.79in } P { margin-bottom: 0.08in } --> </style> piece of work. No. Name Attributes
QB 1 George Washington; Tall field general. Gifted athlete & decision maker
RB 35 John F Kennedy; Quick-thinking athlete. Sees cutback lanes
FB 20 James A Garfield; Led the way in combat. Could open some holes
WR 43 George W Bush; Excellent runner. He'll go on and on. Never seems to tire
WR 44 Barack Obama; Shifty complement. Development will dictate #1 job
TE 37 Richard Nixon; Slippery guy with sticky fingers
LT 21 Chester A Arthur; Tall, big dude to protect Washington's blind side
LG 22 Grover Cleveland; Big boy with ability to focus on what's in front of him
C 38 Gerald Ford; Natural position. '32-'33 Nat'l Champ & Michigan MVP
RG 13 Millard Fillmore; Wide body showed competence can accomplish anything
RT 42 Bill Clinton; Great feet. Side-stepping ability great for kick out blocks
DE 12 Zachary Taylor; “Old Rough & Ready” fought hard but was a lazy leader. (Reminds me of our DE's)
DT 27 William H Taft; 335-pounder to anchor the line
DT 17 Andrew Johnson; Seemed to live his whole life in trenches. Natural position
DE 7 Andrew Jackson; Mean. Killed a guy in a duel, fought in brawls. Very nice.
LB 26 Theodore Roosevelt; Thumper. Combat vet and boxing champ.
LB 34 Dwight D Eisenhower; Field general on defense
LB 18 Ulysses S Grant; “Unconditional Surrender” owns the weak side
CB 25 William McKinley; Intelligent and focused. Good attributes on an island
SS 16 Abraham Lincoln; Rangy and STRONG. Wrestler mentality in the box
FS 41 George HW Bush; Good fielding skills. Great at fighting with a coalition
CB 5 James Monroe; Fought with distinction. Rose to the occasion and was energized by combat
K 4 James Madison; Small guy but instrumental to the success of the franchise
P 29 Warren Harding; Some guy in which nobody has an interest
