In a perfect world, the Saints would come out of this year's draft with a ball-hawk safety, a pass-rushing linebacker, a power-running tailback, some developmental talent at center and defensive tackle and a few more "best available players" sprinkled in.
Of course, that will be awfully hard to do with just four picks in this year's draft -- the No.¤14 overall pick, two fourth-rounders and a seventh-rounder Sunday.
We broke down the Saints' current depth chart, ranked in order of their most pressing needs, along with 16 prospects who could wind up in New Orleans.
We limited the list to players whom the Saints could realistically select at No.¤14 or a few spots lower. Obviously the net would widen if they trade further down
