Example Shockey who hasnt really been healthy enough to play much, Colston who missed half of the games. Not that Im against our team going but in this case it doesnt make any sense and makes me more than before want to dismiss the legitimacy of it more than ever. Not to mention that it seems like its easily 6-8 weeks to early too vote for something like this.

That's why the public vote is only worth 33%. The players and coaches vote are a more realistic vote of performance on the field. I think that actually weighs more than the public's picks.

Yeah I am watching those morons at ESPN boards on the Texans forum wanting multiple people to vote for people like Jacoby Jones and some guy I never heard of, basically a bunch of nobodies, like the pro bowl last year when so many people got snubbed, it was a joke watching some of the players that got chosen to go over others who actually did something.

I have heard retired players state that when the players get the chance to vote they sometimes will get together as a team and agree to not vote for any player on a rivial team. That makes the player vote invalid in my opinion.

Drew is a lock already. Reggie was making a good run at it until his injury. Vilma should be in it without a doubt. As long as he doesn't get robbed like Colston did last year.

That gives you plenty of time to pick then. Pick twenty times if you can. New Orleans is one of the smallest sports markets. They need all the help that they can get.
