I’m thinking Gabriel might be a great find later in the draft for the Saints. Has a ton of experience in college playing at a high level, like Bo Nix, down graded for his size like Brees. Was incredibly productive in college and a winner. NFL.com currently has him as a late round pick.

5’11 205 with running ability. Had like 12 tds rushing last year.

And the doubts about his arm strength seem unfounded. Threw a record velocity of 74.9 mph. He looked great at the combine.

I don't think so. I think he's too short to be an NFL QB. He would have to be so insanely driven and smart like Brees was to ever even get a real shot to play. I don't know the guy, but guys with Brees' work ethic are insanely rare.

To reiterate many earlier posts from me and others, there are no truly first-round QBs in this year's draft.

But, there's indeed some intrigue with Gabriel, and more so with the velocity mark now. I think getting absolutely pole-axed by Ohio State in the playoffs has kept his mentions down to a minimum.

He struggled in a lot of the drills at the combine and hurt his stock at this point I doubt he even gets drafted

Late round I would rather get Tyler Shough

He also beat OSU during the regular season. I don’t care to draft him, but I’m pointing that out bc it’s extremely hard to beat a team twice in one year

Walmart Tua with less accuracy

Nah, I'll pass

Unless we are absolutely in love with a player, I wouldn't take a QB in this draft. We've got 3 in the building, 2 that could still have serious potential. Do we really want to make any conclusions on Rattler or Haener after the coaching staff they were under and the situations they played in? There's bigger fish to fry when it comes to this team's needs. Let's not become the bears or browns and take every QB thats mildly interesting.
