do you think we need to draft a Qb to back up brees? i mean i can see us spending the back making our defense better only to have brees go down with no backup (jamie martin ain't no NFL QB he's a play caller). personally i'm still feeling sick in the stomach that we took pitman last year while troy smith was on the board. tyler palko isn't nfl ready either.

do we draft or look to FA? and is Ardrian McPherson still on the roster? besides the fact he lined up behind the guard in a pre-season game he was amazing in arena league a few years back.
 
I'd like for us to wait on the Raiders to cut Andrew Walter and pick him up. Or maybe Chris Simms
 
I'd like Erik Ainge if he is there on the second day
 
i like the chris simms option but i'm not so sure about andrew walter? here's to hoping that the ravens depart ways with troy smith and we pick him up.
 
Walter's pretty tall like 6'6", strong arm, pocket passer, still young (25). I just feel like he never had a chance in oakland back in 06. They had no protection for him that year, the players turned on the coach. I think we could get him for cheap and he could learn behind Brees and come in if needed.
