I have to agree though, I think Haener made more sense as a backup if Carr goes out than Rattler.

However w/ a week to plan I’d maybe give Rattler a chance OR, due to seniority roll w/ Haener and if it gets bad throw Rattler in and then roll w/ him vs Denver too.

W/ that being said Rattler is the most equipped QB on the roster to handle the current state of the Oline after his experience at SC

Gotta do something to invigorate the fan base after 3 str8 L’s. I will continue to say DA has no chance until he finds a QB that is the proper extension of him on the field.

He needs his guy, IMHO that’s Rattler.

Haener and Rattler are two different types of QB’s.

Haener is more Carr than Rattler, so having him as the primary backup to Carr makes sense because you can keep same gameplan.

I hoper they start Rattler, he will be able to evade pressure easier, although I expect he will make mistakes.
