In a way, about 30-35 years ago, the Buffalo Bills had a specialty/utility/jack-of-all-trades player named Steve Tasker. Great,.excellent punt and kickoff return guy, good 3rd and 4th option WR for Bills, he was sorta the Taysom Hill of his time.Yes he is in his own right. If there was a category for utility player or some other type of specialist, then yes
Does the name Steve Tasker mean anything to you? Great, outstanding utility player who was a great Punt and kick returner, 3rd option WR, slant option runner in Buffalo's K-Gun Offense back in the 1990's.Interesting debate that was being talked about today. I remember Tasker. One helluva player, but I don’t think he’s as rare as TH7In a way, about 30-35 years ago, the Buffalo Bills had a specialty/utility/jack-of-all-trades player named Steve Tasker. In fact, for Saints and NFL fans over the age of 45 on SR and elsewhere, I'd argue that Steve Tasker was far better utility man in his time then what Hill has been the past 6-7 years. Younger fans under the age of 30 don't know.and didnt see enough of Tasker to recognize how great he was. I saw the guy excel at doing so many different things for 12 seasons in Buffalo.
