Would y'all take a chance on him in the 4th or 5th round?

Not good. LolListened to Greg Cosell’s opinion of him on a podcast yesterday. He basically hates him.
I don't see the point. Why draft a QB with high upside that needs some development, can make the throws, and lead a huddle when you're just going to say "so and so gives us the best chance to win"? We don't need more of those guys. We have one that could potentially be a decent QB that we won't play except under the worst circumstances, we don't need another one of those guys.
Cosell isn't either and he's got a good track record with analyzing college QB's.Not a fan of Ewers, Sanders, or Ward.
I generally agree with you, I'll need to see that they are willing to play a lesser player to allow them to develop before I'll think it's worth a pick. We have holes EVERYWHERE and haven't made enough picks over the last 5 years to use a pick on a guy who won't see the field at all.Because you never know when one of those guys turns out to be good to great instead of decent. I don't really think that's Ewers, but the idea of taking swings on mid-round QBs is the right idea. But, obviously if they don't think a guy could be better than Rattler you don't take them.
We already have two developmental QBs, why add a third? If you're not taking a QB in the first or second, you're not making a serious investment.
