NEW ORLEANS — ESPN reported Thursday that Saints running back Alvin Kamara's season might be over.
Kamara did not practice with the team this week.
Saints Interim head coach Darren Rizzi, who replaced Dennis Allen after Week 9, said Kamara likely won't play on Monday night against the Green Bay Packers.
Kamara has 1,493 yards from scrimmage this season, the fourth-best in the NFL. In his absence, the Saints are expected to rely heavily on No. 25, rookie Kendre Miller, who has provided a spark in recent weeks.
