Now here is the list from a pre-draft thread:

Chiefs OT , OG, 3-4 OLB, WR, 3-4 NT, C, S: Appear to have confidence in Branden Albert at LT as they draft an OG in Jon Asamoah so they are no off the list.

Raiders 4-3 NT, OT , RG, CB, LB, QB: Raiders drafted Bruce Campbell who may become a LT but right now he is slotted at RG, so they are still on the list

Bills QB, LT , DT, OLB, WR, OL depth: The bills didn't draft a OT until the 5th round Ed Wang and now he has gone down, I would say this puts them at the top of the list.

49ers S, OT , CB, OG, DE/OLB, 3-4 NT: The 9ers draft both OT Anthony Davis and OG Mike Iupati so they are off the list

Steelers CB, OT , FS, OG, 3-4 NT, 3-4 ILB: They fortified the OL from the center out with the drafting of Maurkice Pouncey this may not solve their issues but I believe it takes them off the list.

Packers LT , CB, S, DL, 3-4 OLB depth, RB: They drafted Brian Bulaga so they are off the list

Cardinals LT , ILB, OLB, OL depth, CB, TE: They had so many departures on defense it forced the Cards to focus there I believe they are still on the list.

Cowboys OT , FS, ILB, DE, CB depth, OG depth: In a typical Cowboy fashion they are distracted by the shiny object so they got the WR instead of a LT which keeps them on the list.

Colts DT, OT ,CB, OG, DE depth, LB depth: After taking Jerry Hughes (URRRR!) they took an OG in the 4th it appears that they a happy with C. Johnson & T. Ugoh at LT.

So to redo the list:

1. Bills
2. Cowboys
3. Raiders
4. Cardinals

Now with this recent news I believe that the Bills are clearly the front runner.

The Bills' already shaky offensive line took another hit Saturday morning.
Fifth-round pick Ed Wang, who's been practicing at left tackle during Organized Team Activities, suffered a potentially serious leg injury on the practice field, according to Mark Gaughan of the Buffalo News.

The Bills are already minus projected starting left tackle Demetrius Bell, who is recovering from a torn ACL. Second-year lineman Jamon Meredith, who couldn't make the Packers' roster out of training camp last year, has been standing in on quarterbacks Trent Edwards and Ryan Fitzpatrick's blind sides.
Wang's injury is to his left leg. He had to be carted off the field and helped into the training room.
Coach Chan Gailey is expected to address the injury after the Bills' afternoon practice.

I would like to see a trade for Kyle Williams and a conditional 4th round pick

4 rounder the cost of the trade.

3 rounder if he is on the field for 75% of the offensive snaps

2 rounder if he makes the pro bowl.

Just a thought????

.

If the Bills would be the only serious suitor for JB, then I'd much rather take only draft picks from them since they'll most likely have another losing record this season. Although Kyle Williams is 27, I don't see him being an upgrade over what we already have. The Bills even drafted his replacement a few months ago in Torrell Troup so he'll most likely get cut when it's all said and done.

Given that Buffalo is now in desperate need for a quality LT, I can see JB being traded to them for a conditional 2nd rounder, which would turn into a 1st round if he makes the Pro Bowl. Either that or multiple mid round picks.

I would take the Cowgirls off this list. They traded for Alex Barron (from St. Louis) and seem to be happy with he and Doug Free at LT.

The Bills have been heavy after Gather so they may be willing to give the required 2nd to get him from the Ravens now that Wang has been injured.

Kyle Williams is a really good, high-effort player who just doesn't fit in a 3-4. He's better than Remi Ayodele in all aspects of the game and probably equal to or better than Sedrick Ellis thus far in his career. He was named a pro bowl alternate last year, probably almost completely by other players and coaches because who really watches Buffalo play or knows who Kyle Williams is among fans? Pro football focus has him as the 14th best 4-3 DT in 2009 and the 4th best in 2008. He can play both DT positions in a 4-3 and plays both the run and the pass well. He'd be a tremendous addition who would solidify our defensive line immediately. I think that'd be a good trade for both teams, although I'd prefer a third rounder.

Buffalo has been all over Jared Gaither. No one wants Jammal Brown until he can prove he's healthy.

I wouldn't want to trade Brown to the 'Boys either. it would help a conference opponent a little too much for my liking

JB could go to
1) Buffalo
2) Washington - they could use a starting LT for a couple years as Williams develops at which time J. Brown could finish out his career at RT
3) Chiefs could be a possibility I think they are similar to the Washington situation but not in as dire need
4) As for Dallas and the Cardinals, you don't trade a Pro-Bowl tackle to either especially Dallas.

1) Williams and a 3rd would be good (putting JB in the AFC would be ideal)
2) JB for Haynesworth could be possible and beneficial to both teams
3) D. Johnson and G. Dorsey for JB and a 2nd or 3rd might be ideal (Dorsey has played well in the wrong scheme and shown himself a real team player, DJ would be much better in a 4-3)
4a) Absolutely no trade with Dallas JB would probably put them over the top and I don't think they have anything of value that they would be willing to trade.
4b) The Cardinals are possible but we would have to get a really good return IMO.

IMO Buffalo and Washington are our most likely suitors with the Cheifs a possibility if we want to add picks to the trade to get a few of their 4-3 players that are miscast in their 3-4.

Wow I didn't realise that was Buffalo's OT that got injured. Their OT need was probably bigger than any other team in the league had a need at a position, and they left it to the fifth round and now he's injured. That's just plain horrible. And their remaining LTs are a 7th rounder from Northwestern State coming off of a torn ACL and a guy they got from the Packer's practice squad WOW I wouldn't wish that upon any team, never mind one with 3 terrible QBs battling it out to start.

They would make by far the most sense, but they will want Gaither for the youth and the chance he could secure them long term. Kyle Williams and a conditional fourth would be fine by me.

Ed Wang was diagnosed with a high ankle sprain. He'll be back. It just may take some time. He is a 5th round pick tho. :idunno:

I have to agree with you for once. To the OP scratch Buffalo off your "List" as well. Brown for Kyle Williams and anything is laughable. Take the extra 2nd and run to the bank.

Cutting Kyle Williams, really, he is a very solid to good player and would easily start on our team. Im sure if he is not big enough for the nose they will kick him out to play end in the 3-4. Not to mention i think they extended his contract not to long ago. Why would a team just cut a solid starter.

And on the J Brown front, i thinks its more likely we keep him unless another team loses a starting LT in training camp. We will not get his true value unless some team becomes desperate. Ive been saying on here we would be lucky to get a 2nd before the draft when most thought we would get at least a 1st maybe more. And no way im trading him to Dallas, O-Line might be there only weakness at this point. Why help them out.

ARen't the Bills the team with Lavitre and Wood as OL starters. Kinda funny.

Per RotoWorld: Per John Clayton ESPN:

The Ravens will only trade RT Jared Gaither for a second-round draft choice or better, according to ESPN's John Clayton.

It looks like the Bills' interest in Gaither has sailed, and it's very hard to see another team giving up that high of a pick for Gaither right now. It looked very unlikely just three weeks ago, but right now it appears Gaither will be in a Ravens uniform this season.
