Rodney Harrison admits DK's touch down was an offensive pass interference (1 Viewer)

This is a core thing that infuriates me about sports talk after games, media or fans. Collingsworth said after Harrison's cogent statement about text book OPI: "spoken like a true DB"

This concept that our biases mask ANY proper criticism of ref play destroys any reasonable debate about officiating quality. A play gets called wrong against your team and you try to bring it up you get "oh you are just a petty fan"

Heck I got this same response after the most obvious non call in NFL history that cost us a Super Bowl... we simply cannot have a reasonable conversation about making officiating better because of the built in excuse machine that immediately invalidates proper criticism.

I think that was more Collinsworth being a former WR. But I get your point.
