The Saints announced this week that they have activated Rookie WR Shaquan Davis from the Practice Squad Injury List. The team released veteran Safety Daniel Sorensen from the Practice Squad earlier this week and Davis will now take his spot. With MT and Shaheed out, the Saints are entering the game against the Panthers this week with (maybe) a gimpy Chris Olave, Lynn Bowden, Jr., Keith Kirkwood, and Rookie A.T. Perry as available receivers on the 53-Man Active Roster. The Saints also have Marquez Calloway and Jontre Kirklin on the Practice Squad along with Shaquan Davis now. It will be interesting to see if the Saints activate one of the 3 receivers from the Practice Squad this week for the Panthers game. Davis showed flashes in camp and pre-season games. He is a big body receiver with a wide catch radius. This might be the week in which he gets to play in his first NFL game and bring a new target into the mix.

Time for another team to swoop in and grab him off the Practice squad, seen this before.

Although no other team has a WR room as injured as ours right now. MT out and who knows about his future with the team long term. AT Perry hasn't really taken advantage of the opportunity yet and they occupy the same role. He has more time with this current team that Callaway has so he could get elevated over Callaway. We have no physicality at WR maybe Shaq can bring that especially since he goes by Shaq.

If they activate a WR it;s Probably going to be Calloway. He's the most experienced and he knows the system.

Have to admit that having Davis, Perry, and Graham in on the same play sounds quite interesting.
