My brother is a big Shaq Davis fan. He says they called him baby mega tron in college. I think he is way ahead of AT Perry at this point.

I remember first watching his highlight reel and thinking he's a lot like Shaheed. He adjusts well and makes the QB look good at times. He did this against much smaller less athletic DB's tho so it'll be on him to prove he can at the next level.

He needs to beef up a bit more to be compared to Calvin Johnson.

Having said that, he looks like a nightmare for a DB to cover. He runs disciplined routes, has great change of direction, good hands, and speed (...saw him outrun two defenders early in the vid below). Only thing I haven't seen is his ability to block off the LOS.

Also, like Ross Jackson said in his podcast, Shaq will have to be able to contribute on Special Teams.

I finally went and watched his highlights.

This kid is huge. He runs excellent routes, and for a big guy, gets some nice separation. Good speed too. With his big body, and big hands, he could be a good RZ target.
