I saw Rush way back on their Moving Pictures tour, and they opened with 2112 Overture/Temples of Syrinx. Really excellent show!

It was my first one. I have wanted to see them for years but was always gone when they came around. It was my bud's 13 show and he's seeing them again in Dallas. A lot of the people I met pregame had seen them multiple times.

You definitely got your money's worth from a Rush show. It's an absolute crock that it took until 2013 for them to be inducted into the Rock & Roll HOF.

Have been fortunate to see Rush many times in many venues and they have never disappointed. Considering it's just 3 guys (Ok, and a few backing tracks) performing for 2.5-3 hrs per show, it's pretty incredible. No need for 18 back-up dancers, multitudes of sampled tracks or lip-synching, just 3 guys (and these days, 3 old guys) still mastering their craft. Many bands would have shut it down after everything that happened in the late 90's, but these guys have always managed to endure and to reinvent themselves.

Got my tix for the NOLA show on 5/22 and expect another great performance. Sadly, it will be somewhat bittersweet as all reports are that this truly will be the last time that Rush hits the road for a tour. If that's the case, I am grateful to have been able to experience them multiple times over the past two decades. I find this image quite telling that they are finally ready to ride/roll off into the sunset and call it a career:

Got tix for NOLA show also. Taking my daughter. She's not a Rush fan, but likes the radio hits. It'll be my 6-7th show. I hate to see them go but they're king of the road and deserve to go out like Kings.

My 2nd show ever as a kid, 1st was Kiss lol. I remember bing blown away, it was on the Test for Echo tour. Thanks for posting the set list!

Nice selection of older tunes thrown in there. Can't wait for 5/22.

Really disappointed that they are not coming to Europe this time around (One Little Victory in particular is a song I'd love to hear live) but I'm not too surprised. I read somewhere that NP has chronic tendonitis problems, so I guess the physical side is becoming too much, in addition to his well-documented ambivalence when it comes to touring.

The reports suggest the shows are well up to the usual standard, with some nice touches (that I won't describe here). They are also varying the set list night to night, as they did on the last tour - with The Wreckers, How It Is, Between The Wheels, and The Camera Eye all in the 2nd show.

Just have to make do with the BluRay version, I guess.

They are alternating a few songs in the setlist. Most underrated band of all time.

Don't want to spoil anything for those who have not yet been to shows yet. I myself haven't been, but thought this was pretty cool.

Neil Peart's R40 drums

I'm geeked out about Friday's show. Not a fan of songs past '92 but "Hell Yeah"!!!! Just haven't really listened to much of them.
