According to Underhill's sources, Ram isn't going to play. Carr better get his running shoes on and wear some extra padding because that right side is going to be really bad.

Cam Erving was elevated from the practice squad.
He did fine at RT when he started in Ramczyk’s place vs the Jaguars in October. It was the best RT performance up to that point. Ram struggled in most games before that week.
Sounds like Landon Young will start

Regardless of who starts, the line that already hasn't played well is going to have a new piece right next to the already struggling Ruiz. I expect the right side to be especially targeted for pressure and for Pete Carmichael to not have an answer for it. I also expect some drives to stall due to false starts getting us behind the chains.

So is it possible that the coaching staff knew this was coming and got the practice squad Erving or backup Young some increased practice reps throughout the week while not ruling out Ramczyk to prevent giving the Giants the benefit of knowing that? Or would you think this is truly something that is just being learned and now a scramble to get one of these guys ready to go?

Hard to tell. Ram got the Limited Practice designation all week, but who knows how limited he was and if he was taking all of the first team reps or if someone else was getting some of those reps. I didn't here anything regarding anybody taking his reps, but I'm not sure if reporters would mention that much or not.

I know where Im blitzing, and runnin twist stunts all day long

Landon Young is a Guard, I do not know for the life of me why they keep putting him at RT. It just makes 0 sense, especially when you have Cam Irving who played very well there last time. They deserve this L for stupidity.
Young is a tackle. He has always been a tackle, except when we cross-trained him at guard so he would be ready for that in case of emergency. The only reason we put Erving out there last time is because Young was hurt then, too.

He sucks at RT and projects in the NFL as a guard. I bet you would start Cam Irving over him.

Such a rapid health and quality of play decline for RAM..,.
Injuries and the HC change have killed Ram.

Before he was drafted out of Wisconsin, one of the big knocks on Ram… and why he was there when the Saints took him… was because he wasn’t sure if he still wanted to play football.

CSP drafted him and the rest is history until now.

Now he’s playing for a HC that has proven he’s in over his head and injuries have mounted.
I don’t blame Ram… but he should probably retire after this season. Dennis Allen is a career killer.
