Normally, I would be a little bummed about LSU's loss today.

But I am too excited about the Saints to really care. A Saints loss affects my week a lot more than an LSU loss.

Anyone else feel the same way?

Same here. Some people say college football is better than the NFL, but I don't see it. Give me the Saints over that bull**** BCS garbage anyday.

As a college football and Southern Miss enthusiast, a loss by the Golden Eagles hurts for a while, but with the way the Saints are playing right now it's been a lot easier to deal with.

i could give two craps about LSU, i'm a Saints fan!!!!!

i like watching LSU lose, i'm an Auburn fan from childhood, and an Alumni of USM, I was rooting for them today because my hate for BAMA runs deep.....

i'm already expecting -rep for stating my dislike for LSU... But it's all good, not all saints fans are LSU fans, just the majority!!

I feel the exact same. I do root for LSU, but I wont' lose sleep over a loss.

im really not an LSU fan either, i really dont like them at all, my team is Texas Long Horns, i love Alabama's defense too

I never went to LSU. But I really enjoy college football, and rooting for a "home" team makes a sport more enjoyable. LSU best represents my home team so I root for them more than the other 119 or so division 1 teams.

But I live and die by the Saints.

i go to lsu. this loss is terrible. my gut hurts. the saints winning will ease my pain. i hate that this board feels like lsu and saints are rivals. get over it. its louisiana and we have a great pro team and a great college team. too often this board takes rooting for LSU as a slap at the saints. (not the OP just in general). thats just stupid

Well, yes, but there are plenty of people here with little allegiance to LSU in the first place.


And fuhgettabout Tulane losses. You punch me in the face enough, I just don't feel it anymore.
