Just too many injuries to overcome. I don’t think this is a true indictment on the organization. We have no starting offensive skill position guys, key linemen are hurt, and we are starting a rookie 5th round pick at QB.

Not very many teams can win under these circumstances, if any. I wouldn’t be surprised if we get blown out tomorrow.

Perhaps. I do know this; This year is the worst year I can recall as far as the Saints and Pelicans franchises go. To have so much lost due to injury and just bad coaching. If only the sports fans of New Orleans had another sport to support whether it be Ice Hockey, Baseball or Soccer etc.. A wasted year as a fan is so disappointing .

I just looked up the Ian Book game against the Dolphins in 2021. Saints were 3 point underdogs. Feels pretty similar.

The silver lining with the Pels is that they picked a great year to be terrible. The 2025 NBA draft is loaded.
