That's not a bad place to look imo. Never thought Bama would be on the new regime's radar.
Pretty sure DA is gonna call the defense anyway.Still no DC announcement yet ? WTH is going on around here ! Lol
Here's a good read on the duo:
David Ballou and Dr. Matt Rhea Cut Alabama Injuries by 50% in 2020
Saban commended the pair for being on the forefront of strength and conditioning philosophy. The coaches helped the Tide shift from a power lifting philosophy to velocity training to minimize injury and increase the team's explosive movements.tide1009.com
I think that Payton was extremely loyal to his players and his staff.Imagine if they had that kind of success here. Davenport for example has dealt with all kinds of injuries in the NFL but in college he had only one and only missed one game from it. We drafted him because he was prototype size and not as big of an injury risk as some of the smaller sized DE's.
Allen was probably sick of the constant injuries and didn't have the same loyalty to our old strength and conditioning coach Payton had. Clearly something wasn't right, this could be the biggest coaching change of the off-season.
