Him being a #2 on the Saints doesn't mean anything when Baun went from special teams player to All Pro Linebacker and Trey Hendrickson was let walk after a great year that DA thought was a fluke to become one of the most dominant edge rushers in the league.

Completely agree. Dude gets a little handsy at times but he's an a young player on the rise

Underhill pointed out that Adebo never felt like an ideal scheme fit for Allen's pure man scheme. Arguably he's a zone corner that can keep things in front of him and make plays. When in Man he gets a little grabby he should be a better fit in this scheme if we can retain him.

Yeah I'm already preparing mentally for the loss, though Will Johnson wouldn't be a bad consolation price but I'm looking at guys like Rasul Douglas as cheap replacements. Because of the amount of zone we'll play it feels like the Safety position will be more important than it has been.

Are you thinking we will play a lot of drop zone coverages with Staley? The outside CB’s still usually play a lot of man in zone matching.

Yeah, Underhill pointed out that he's pretty business saavy and would be unlikely to give us a discount...and he mentioned that last year during training camp.

I personally believe he should be getting paid similar to Lattimore for his ability to generate turnovers.

Nope, I'm thinking match zone but less pure man and more off coverage vs the amount of bump and run we played which usually put him in bad position when he was beat on the LOS
