Saints @ Carolina..Who's going? (1 Viewer)

The Carolina game is always a good time. It's been a pretty cool tradition. This will make my fourth year in a row to go to the Panther game. bigchinguy, Jread2 and Inkspot have already said they were going. Jay Foster and his family usually make it there too. Anyone else?

Single game tickets go on Sale July 28th, I will let you know then..

I am in Atlanta and will drive up for the day with my girlfriend.. Hopefully we can all meet up and have a few beers and eat some food before the game.

I'll definitely be there. I bet MayberrySaint and TulsaSaint will be there to. This will be my 3rd year to go and the party is always great. We had a big crowd last year!

I am trying to save the money to buy tickets. I live right near Lowes Motor Speedway in Concord, NC. How much are they again? I thought I saw $55 per ticket?
I would love to meet you guys and gals for a tailgate party.

Definitely planning to be there Thanksgiving weekend...

This is my wife & I's 2nd year living in Charlotte, after moving from NOLA. We're counting down until the Saints come to town Thanksgiving weekend. Her parents are coming up for the game and we're trying to find out if there is a designated place(s) where the Saints fans usually get together ...either the night before and of course, the morining of the game to tailgate.
Please shoot me an email - if we can get a large group of Saints fans partying together New Orleans-style in downtown Charlotte, that would be cool.

What's up Saintanism!? I remember sitting by you at Copelands' viewing party for the NFC Championship game (I was with my wife). That was pretty fun...except for the outcome of the game.

I'm hoping to be able to go up for the game in Charlotte. I should be able to afford at least 1 ticket, so I'll definitely keep an eye out on SR.com when the game is closer to see if there are any tailgates to hit! Charlotte is always a pretty easy drive from Atlanta.

I'll be there for sure with my bus...I already have it set up with DMI travel. I'll be getting in town on Friday afternoon and hope to see a lot of you. Lets all get together and tailgate early Sunday. There is a pay parking lot we were in the last time we went the year before Katrina. The people there were nice to us...I think that's the spot I'll be in again. One guy was really nice and told us he had been tailgating in this lot since the team was founded. He loved my airblown inflatable Saints running back, so I bought a Panther one for him on e-bay during that off season, intending to go back the next year, but Katrina ruined that trip. I been holding on to his inflatable all this time...now he will finally get it this year.

Jread2 shot this video from last years 06 tailgate in Charlotte. Lets make it even bigger and better this year. Saint Mike's bus should draw a lot of attention from Panthers fans. I can't wait to see it. I'm already getting fired up.

I will definitely be there again this year and the party will be huge again!! I got my tickets last week, so that is already taken care of. I also made my hotel reservations the day the schedule was released, so that's a done deal too. I'll be getting some information together soon and starting an "Official Charlotte Tailgating" thread. I'm more excited than ever. This year we put the Panthers in their place!!

I am new to SR but have been a saints fan forever. I plan on coming down to Carolina from Baltimore with my son for the game. Just wanted to see if any fans were meeting up and where. We will be at the Residence Inn.

Assuming you mean the Residence Inn across the street from the stadium, I will be staying there as well. Normally, we tailgate right next door. However, since Mike is bringing his bus, we will probably need to find another spot. I'll coordinate with Mike and see. I plan to start a "planning" thread soon. I talked to a distributor in Charlotte last year and can probably get a keg of Abita, if anyone is interested in pitching in.
