If there's an advantage to the Saints being awful, it's that you can get merch pretty cheap.
My wife said that she couldn't believe how cheap some of the merch was.

I remember one year I decided not to get my son any Saints merch. He said he was sad that he didn't get any. I told him that I didn't get him any because I didn't think he like football. He said, " I don't, but I like the Saints!" lol
